CASA of Contra Costa County - Concord, CA

Overview > Reviews > Great Volunteer Experience for Those Who Want to Make a Difference for Abused and Neglected Children

This organization has great outcomes for the foster children they support. Although less than half of foster children graduate from high school or earn a GED, 100% of CASA kids graduate from high school, earn a GED or are still in school. In addition, of those who graduate, more than 50% go onto college or trade school compared to less than 10% of foster children overall. CASA provides training and ongoing support so any responsible adult can be a CASA volunteer (with a background check and completion of training).
