For the second year in a row, Lamorinda Moms is proud to present to the community Dr. Laura Markham, who will advise us on how to facilitate a loving, connected relationship between siblings based on her recent book, Peaceful Parent, Happy Siblings: How to Stop the Fighting and Raise Friends for Life. This is a much-anticipated follow-up to her talk last year, which had more than 350 attendees. This year’s event will take place on October 11, 2017, at the Orinda Intermediate School, from 7:00 to 9:00pm. As any parent of more than one child knows, it’s challenging for even the most engaged parent to maintain a peaceful home when competition, irritation and tempers run high.
