Violinist Jenny Oaks Baker in concert with Temple Hill Orchestra – FREE!

Grammy nominated violinist Jenny Oaks Baker will appear with her four children in a free concert for all ages in the Temple Hill Auditorium on Saturday March 3 and Sunday March 4 at 7 pm. The auditorium is located at 4780 Lincoln Ave, Oakland, just off Highway 13. The Temple Hill Orchestra, conducted by Jay Trottier, will accompany the Ensemble in a program featuring American favorites Ashokan Farewell, Sound of Music medley, O Shenandoah, Morning has Broken and Copeland Rock Suite. Audience members will also be inspired by beloved hymns arranged for violin, cello, piano and/or guitar with orchestral accompaniment, including Amazing Grace, Down to the River to Pray, Christ the Lord is Risen Today and Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow. Tickets are not needed for this concert. FREE ADMISSION at the door. Jenny Oaks Baker received her Master of Music Degree from the Juilliard School in New York City and her Bachelor’s Degree in violin performance from The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. She has performed as soloist at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City, and as a guest soloist with The National Symphony, Jerusalem Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She and her children perform together internationally as Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four.
