Popular FREE Family Concert and Instrument Petting Zoo returns! The Symphony’s family-oriented concert at Concord High School on April 14 (2 pm) to feature John Williams’ music for the Star Wars and Harry Potter movies. Also, 10th grader Omar Wahby, a winner of this year’s Yen Liang Young Artist Competition, will perform Weber’s Concertino for Clarinet. The concert will be immediately followed by an Instrument Petting Zoo, where family members of all ages are encouraged to try out various instruments from the orchestra and see which they like the best! Conductor Matilda Hofman and many players will be dressed as Star Wars or Harry Potter characters and audience members are encouraged to come in costume.
