San Francisco Event – Monet: The Late Years at deYoung Museum

The El Dorado County Senior Activities Program presents: Monet: The Late Years at the DeYoung Museum. This exhibition features paintings by Claude Monet dating mainly from 1913 to 1926, the final phase of the artists' long career. During his late years, the well-travelers Monet stayed close to home, inspired by the variety of elements making up his own garden at Giverny, a village located about 45 miles from Paris. The exhibition will focus on the series that Money invented, and just as important, reinvented. Spend the afternoon at the Legion of Honor, a museum representing a great legacy of philanthropy and civic pride. Lunch is on your own at the Museum Café (not included).
