The Diablo Symphony is proud to feature violin superstar (and past DSO Yen Liang Young Artist Competition winner) Stephen Waarts at its final concert of the 2015-16 season, "Kindred Spirits," this Sunday, May 22nd, at 2 pm at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. Mr. Waarts will be performing the iconic and beloved Beethoven Violin Concerto. The program will also feature two works by Jean Sibelius which bookended his composing career: the early King Christian II Suite and the late Symphony No. 7. Concert attendees will enjoy comparing the styles and influences of these two "kindred spirit" composers. Lesher tickets may be purchased online or at the Lesher box office.
