To plan a visit to a SFO adjacent hotel without having a scheduled flight might seem a bit silly. One after another, incoming aircraft hover gracefully over the waves, serving to create an energetic and uplifting background vibe that permeates the lounge. And the sight of flight attendants, captains, and tourists gliding through the hotel lobby instills a sense of wanderlust that is partially satisfied via sheer proximity.

Young, transportation-obsessed children especially might enjoy an outing to The San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront where the Flights 101 Lounge patio (featuring fire pits) gives them an unobstructed front row seat to the airport activity. Bring bikes or scooters, and pedal or push-off along the Bay-front trail. Book a night and ask for a Bay-facing room to further catch all the aircraft action.
