Like all wineries, Sonoma County’s Belden Barns is scheduling tastings by appointment only and limiting the number of visitors. But unlike many other wineries, Belden Barns sets-up its self-service tastings in any number of locations within their bucolic Sonoma Mountain/Bennett Valley property, making for an easy, fun, and safe wine country getaway. Visitors can bring a blanket and picnic basket and hang out -- taking time to enjoy/explore the estate at their leisure.

As always, Belden Barns is extremely family-friendly; children are always welcome. Proprietors Lauren and Nate Belden ‘speak kid;’ they have two of their own. Their vast property is a great place for kids to roam safely while parents enjoy a fun wine country outing. Upon arrival each child guest receives an activity backpack that includes binoculars, compass, notepad, crayons, and a list of cool things to spot.

A little more than an hour's drive from Walnut Creek, the winery is welcoming parties of up to eight people for by-appointment-only, socially-distanced visits to their beautiful estate. Simply order your wines when booking your visit (two bottles-per-adult minimum purchase) and they'll set-up for your group Adirondack chairs, a table with your specified wines, outdoor glassware, and a corkscrew – all under their iconic Wishing Tree. Bring a blanket and your own picnic basket goodies and you've got everything you need for a leisurely getaway, complete with beautiful wine country vistas, plenty of room to roam freely among the vines, and of course, some stellar Belden Barns Estate wines.
