At pop-up events throughout the East Bay, The Makers Movement brings together local small-batch artisans, unique designers, and small business curators at exceptional outdoor shopping experiences. And next week they're bringing a fun, eco-friendly market to Walnut Creek.
On September 4 from 1:00-7:00pm, join 25 local artisans at a curated outdoor shopping experience celebrating the end of summer. At this free, family and pet-friendly event on the spacious grounds of Calicraft Brewing Company
enjoy the coastal sounds of Pacific Vibration and the bluesy rock of Bay Area Quartet, The Mix Up while sipping some of the best micro-brews around. Sample delicious bites from San Francisco-based food trucks: Vegan Mob and Sip & Slide. A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF)
in honor of their work with "people rescuing animals and animals rescuing people."
Other upcoming pop-up market events include September 11 at Balestrieri Farms and October 30 at Retzlaff Vineyards. Learn more about the Maker Movement through the website or connect with on Instagram. Cheers!
