With a twinkling lights, festive décor, and 8000-square feet of space to skate, it’s no wonder  Walnut on Ice is such a popular holiday destination. Whether a pro or a first timer, this East Bay gem boasts one of the largest outdoor ice rinks in California. Play hockey, take skating lessons, host a party in private cabana, Walnut Creek's winter wonderland makes its holiday debut December 10 at 11:00am.

After you wrap it up at the rink, grab a hot chocolate, spicy Asian noodle bowl, or carmel macchiato at your favorite restaurant or bar downtown. Then lay your weary head to rest on a plush pillow at a Walnut Creek hotel, like the Walnut Creek Marriott. Book early, some rooms come with free tickets to Walnut Creek on Ice.
