Plan a San Francisco New Year's Eve at These Hot Spots

Seeking a New Year’s Eve plan? Look no further than the following list of San Francisco hot spots (and one Peninsula outlier) for a festive night full of food and drink. (Rest assured that each venue will adhere to all regulations regarding COVID-19.) 

Osito - San Francisco’s soon-to-open 100% live fire restaurant offers two seatings on New Year's Eve, a 5-course menu, followed by a champagne party in Osito’s sister bar Liliana. Tickets, $295 per person. 

Thriller Social Club - This 10,000+ square foot entertainment venue is the place to play your favorite games like Pop-a-Shot, Connect 4, Ring Toss, and Down the Clown while grooving to a DJ's sounds. In the upstairs gypsy-themed Fortuna Lounge, cozy up for a New Year’s Eve kiss and fill up on everything from black truffle buttered popcorn to Peking duck pizza with wonton chips.

Jaranita- Located in the bustling Marina District, Peruvian restaurant Jaranita ( the culinary team behind La Mar) is doing festive bites and delicious cocktails to keep you dancing all night long with DJ MytyMyke (99.7 FM). Event begins at 9:00pm, $50 admission includes: 4 food/drink tickets and a complimentary midnight toast. 

GOZU - Book an appointment in the Whiskey Lounge for sips of rare Japanese whiskies, boutique fine wines, and small bites. Nosh on wagyu toast covered in grilled shokupan and Sonoma duck with bacon and maple kombucha while you ring in the New Year. $295/per person. 

Nightbird - Chef/Owner Kim Alter has created an indulgent evening for guests at her elegant Hayes Valley restaurant with an 11-course menu featuring caviar, champagne, lobster, truffles and more. $325/per person.  

La Mar Cebicheria Peruana This iconic Peruvian restaurant on the San Francisco waterfront is serving a seven-course menu featuring everything from their signature cebiche to grilled scallops and Wagyu beef with crab-topped yukon potatoes. The $295 per person price includes live band entertainment starting at 8:30pm, party favors, photo booth, and a Champagne toast at midnight.
