Raquel and Domingo Williams are launching their biggest venture yet—a Parisian-style restaurant lounge in the former Papyrus space. Located at 1376 S. Main Street, Raquel’s creative charcuterie boards will be a main attraction, along with craft cocktails, caviar service, small plates, and big city vibes.
It’s a big step for Raquel, who has spent the past six years operating her charcuterie catering business, Honey + Brie, out of an East Bay commercial kitchen. Thanks to her talent, hustle, and Instagrammable boards, Honey + Brie has grown exponentially in that time, inspiring the Williams to expand their brand to Walnut Creek.
"Chateau is meant to be different,” says Raquel. “The concept is simple but elevated. An upscale European-inspired restaurant featuring a full bar, a mezzanine lounge, and indoor/outdoor dining.”
“We’ve been working on Chateau for two years,” she says. “I can’t wait to share it with the community. Lunch and dinner menus, artisan-caliber cuisine, customized caviar experiences with fresh blinis, and of course, burgers with truffle fries. Young professionals moving to the suburbs from San Francisco will feel at home here.”
