Returning home after their national tour, awakebutstillinbed are going to play Up The Creek Records! This will be the first time a band that has been reviewed in Pitchfork will be playing in the shop. It’s kind of a long story, but I donated to their Kickstarter campaign to buy a new van when theirs broke down on the way to SXSW. Well, SXSW went well for them, they were named a band to watch by Stereogum and got reviewed in Pitchfork, toured the nation and still were willing to play at our little ‘ol record shop when they got home. They have vinyl records and everything!
