We celebrate STEM Month by welcoming two local women scientists who also happen to be mother and daughter. Chitra Manohar is at the height of her biologic science career, and Nitya Furtado is just starting out. They will share their stories about their different opportunities and challenges and will also discuss what they hope for the future for women in science. Chitra Manohar is a Diagnostics Leader for Precision Medicine. Nitya Furtado is Scientist II at Roche Sequencing Solutions.
