Walnut Creek’s world-renowned 3.5-acre Ruth Bancroft Garden, home to a collection of unique and beloved drought-tolerant plants, is celebrating the holidays again this season with its popular Garden of D’Lights show. Illuminated in thousands of lights and lasers, guests of all ages are invited to explore the garden’s bounty of mature cacti, exotic succulents, and majestic trees. Each year volunteer artists, electricians, and “tech savants” spend hundreds of hours transforming the plants and trees into colorful botanical sculptures.

Bring the whole family on select dates November 11 to December 23 to celebrate the holiday season on a colorful nighttime adventure. Wander through glowing paths surrounded by plush Mediterranean landscape at this must-see outdoor holiday exhibit.
