For the third year in a row, Harvest Inn, the idyllic Napa Valley resort, will host The Napa Valley 750: The Wine Country Road Rally, a one-of-a-kind driving experience for auto enthusiasts. The April 3 – 8 event, open to 25 duos, entails a six-day, 750-mile scenic driving experience along Northern California’s iconic roadways, in addition to luxury accommodations in a Harvest Inn Vineyard View Collection guest room, world class wine country dining, daily tidy-up by on-site detailers, exclusive winery experiences, touring support crew with flat bed, and a thoughtfully curated route book that details daily routes and scenic paths through wine country.
Cars featured in last year’s event included a1953 Porsche 356 “Outlaw,” a 1954 Austin Healey 100, a 1957 Jaguar D-Type, a 100% original 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC, a 1970 Porsche 911S, a 1974 DeTomaso Pantera GTS, and a bright yellow 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4. Sponsors included Ferrari of San Francisco, Reliable Carriers, Inc., Hanson Bridget, and govino.
“We had a great week in Napa!” said Scotty and Gretchen L. from Colorado Springs. “Harvest Inn did an awesome job and the bar has really been raised for our car rallies. The accommodations were great - we love The Harvest Inn. Waking up to the view over the vineyard every morning is sweet! The tours were well thought out with crazy fun roads to drive. The staff were really over the top with every detail for The Rally. We so enjoyed all the fabulous choices for lunch and dinners! The food was spectacular, not to mention the venues – wow!”
As a charity event, $90k was raised last year for the St. Helena Hospital Foundation. “Common bonds are often created when car enthusiasts come together, and through our shared experiences, we like to give back to the communities that support us,” said Harvest Inn co-owner and Napa Valley 750 Road Rally Director, Rick Kaufman. “We feel so privileged to be able to help support the St. Helena Hospital Foundation, and we wanted to recognize the hard work our healthcare workers provide each and every day on behalf of our community.”
To keep the energy of the Napa Valley 750 rolling throughout the year, Harvest Inn has partnered with Exotic Car Collection by enterprise to offer the excitement of luxury car rentals for resort guests year-round. Those looking to explore wine country in style can rent a luxe sports car package (Porsche Boxster convertible/Porsche Cayman coupe, Audi Q7 SUV, Jaguar F-Pace SUV, Maserati Ghibli sedan or BMW 740i sedan, for instance) during their visit for $200/day (wholesale rate + tax), while other guests can select everyday vehicles for help with airport transportation and more.
