A Three Sticks Food & Wine Pairing That Delights the Senses

Recognized for its world class Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays sourced from exceptional estate vineyards, Three Sticks Wines offers one of Sonoma County’s most popular wine tasting experiences. Within its fabulous Vallejo-Casteñada Adobe home on Sonoma Plaza, where renowned designer Ken Fulk has created a jewel box of a tasting room and patio, Three Sticks is the ideal spot to celebrate the fall season by enjoying an educational flight, or an outstanding food and wine pairing as prepared by notable chef James Nobel.


The Three Sticks philosophy includes producing wines of world class quality from exceptional vineyards in Sonoma County, including the winery’s estate properties Durell and Gap's Crown Vineyards. Three Sticks’ passion for winemaking is matched by the culinary passion of Chef James who attended Le Cordon Blue School of Culinary Arts in 2009. After graduating, he worked for James Beard award-winning Chef Suzanne Goin in Los Angeles. His zeal for locally sourced seasonal produce was ignited during this time, and he even started his own farmers’ market. Continuing his love for farm-to-table, Chef James works closely with local wineries such as Three Sticks, while taking advantage of the world-renowned agriculture that wine country offers. 


The Three Sticks Food & Wine Pairing is a private, guided, educational experience, where guests learn how Chef James’ curated dishes interact and enhance the key characteristics of Three Sticks’ Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. The menu includes:

Tomato Plum Gazpacho

Duck Salad

Liberty Duck Prosciutto | La Tur Cheese | Figs | Pomegranate | Marcona Almonds 

Wild Mushroom Tart

Pâte Brisée | Leek Custard | Foraged Wild Mushrooms 

Kibbeh Nayah 

Grass Fed Chateaubriand | Endive | Black Garlic Aioli | Pine Nuts 

Price is $75 per club member | $110 per non-club member, reservation only.
