You’re invited to attend this Crime Prevention Workshop. Information will be presented to cover these topics:
* Social media & cyber security online scams
* Victimization with safety tips for teens and adults
* How to organize your own Neighborhood Watch program
The guest speaker is Christina Lind-Winters, Crime Prevention Specialist from the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff. Get your questions answered and learn more about internet & social media security to protect you and your family.
The Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff and your local Police Department are expanding the Neighborhood Watch Program throughout the area and updating previously organized neighborhoods.
This informative workshop is designed to train citizens how to recognize and report suspicious activities in their neighborhoods, implement crime prevention strategies such as home security improvements and to make our community safer through the Neighborhood Watch Program.
Neighborhood Watch is a program designed for neighbors to get to know each other, to look out for each other and to preserve neighborhoods and property. The program is about citizens and law enforcement working together to reduce crime in our neighborhoods.
