Walnut Creek Bead & Design Show is back at the Plaza Hotel, October 13-15. Featuring over 150 exhibits presented by independent artisans, beadmakers, and tradespeople, as well as interactive, hands-on workshops.

Meet the artists, artisans, and tradespeople showcasing vast and eclectic displays of traditional and contemporary, finished pieces and components. From handcrafted jewelry and hand printed fabrics, to antique trade beads, gems, crystals and ancient finds.

This three-day event will fill the ballrooms and meeting space at Concord Plaza Hotel with exhibits and workshops. Makers and designers will find high-quality bead merchants and suppliers, with findings, seed beads, gems, cabs, unusual components, and more.

Workshops in jewelry making techniques and skills are offered throughout the show. Participants can try their hand at mixed media and jewelry making techniques such as beadwork, chainmaille, pearl knotting, soldering, kumihimo, wire work, and Peyote beading.
