Ram’s Gate Winery, a small-lot, fine wine producer located in Sonoma’s Carneros AVA, has launched ‘Ram’s Gate in Your Kitchen,’ a food and wine pairing dinner kit offering. The winery hand delivers the kits to addresses in Santa Rosa, Sonoma, and Marin Counties. All other Bay Area county residents are welcome to order for pick-up.

The program is the winery’s effort to connect with the Bay Area community and support local farms during these unprecedented times. In addition to the meal kit, Ram’s Gate is also offering 15% off and free shipping on all online wine orders through mid April.

Curated by Executive Chef Stacey Combs with wine selections by Director of Winemaking Joe Nielsen, each week’s menu introduces a new two-course menu featuring produce and cheeses sourced from local farms, along with wine pairings from the Ram’s Gate portfolio. The dinner kit is delivered to Sonoma County doorsteps by winery staff members, or available for curbside pick-up at the winery, and includes all the ingredients and instructions necessary for a restaurant-worthy dining experience in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Dinner kits can be purchased on the Ram's Gate website here each week through Friday at 6pm. (Select your delivery or pick-up time first, then select from the 'Choose a Menu' drop down). Dinner kit options and wine pairings change each week.

Pricing: Two-person dinner with two bottles of wine ($125); Four-person dinner with three bottles of wine ($200); Six-person dinner with four bottles of wine ($280.)

Also offered are dinner kit add-ons including a children's dinner option for $10, a cheese and charcuterie board option for $18, and a dessert option for $6 per person. Kits are delivered or available for pick up at the winery Saturday from 2pm to 4pm.

“Every experience that Ram’s Gate offers is, at its core, a pairing experience,” says Nielsen. “Our wines are made to be enjoyed at the table and each week we will put as much thought into these dinner kit pairings as we would with the experiences we offer visitors to our tasting room. We hope these dinner kits will give our customers a chance to sit down with their loved ones and enjoy the connectedness a shared meal offers.”

Ram’s Gate sources its grapes from Sonoma's marquee vineyards including Sonoma Coast’s famed Durell and Gap’s Crown Vineyards, Ulises Valdez’s admired Russian River portfolio, the Sangiacomo family’s Roberts Road Vineyards, and from Carneros' Hyde Vineyard and Hudson Ranch. The state-of-the-art tasting room was designed by award-winning Architect Howard Backen, and offers a variety of tasting experiences, all designed to complement the wines with sweeping vineyard views, jovial company and hand-crafted food pairings.

Due to recent restrictions placed on California wineries, the Tasting Room is temporarily closed and will re-open as soon as restrictions have been lifted and the Ram’s Gate team feels it is safe for both guests and employees. During this times, Ram’s Gate offers curbside pickup from 11 - 3, Thursday through Sunday for bottles of wine, small bites, and Ram's Gate merchandise.
