A rising force on the jazz scene, Southern California pianist and composer Green has distinguished himself with his beautifully articulated touch and melodically charged sensibility. Green’s growing portfolio of vibrant sounds has garnered multiple awards and has captured the attention of critics around the world. His talents have taken him from the Blue Note in New York City to the Blue Whale in Los Angeles, and his work has been featured in the San Diego Union Tribune, the Boston Globe, DownBeat Magazine, Jazziz, and Public Radio International. With his talented trio – Justin Grinnell on bass and Julien Cantelm on drums – Green’s performance at the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest highlights his fifth tour to the Bay Area, with a debut performance at Impulse Room, Walnut Creek’s new music venue.
