Jerry Mitchell, the acclaimed Mississippi Clarion-Ledger investigative journalist, will discuss his new book, Race Against Time: A Reporter Reopens the Unsolved Murder Cases of the Civil Rights Era, a compelling accounting of how he brought four leading Klansmen to justice decades after they thought they got away with murder.

Mitchell is a MacArthur Genius Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist. Race Against Time has already been named one of Newsweek's Most-Anticipated Books of 2020 and will be available for purchase and signing after the program.
