A Yountville Restaurant Revival

Every great wine country adventure should begin or end in Yountville, an epicurean paradise Thomas Keller put on the map. Between chic hotels and renowned restaurants, the town's dining decisions are never easy ones. It's here that The Restaurant at North Block makes its mark, stepping back into the spotlight alongside neighbors like RH, French Laundry, and Bouchon.

Situated within a boutique hotel, The Restaurant at North Block sets a warm and welcoming stage with earth-toned interiors, lofty ceilings, and natural wood. From the open-air kitchen, freshly baked sourdoughs and flatbreads emerge at brunch and dinner.


 

True to Napa Valley's tradition of seasonal fare, the brunch menu features an array of locally sourced meats and cheeses, complemented by a range of seafood options—from oysters on the half shell to yellowfin poke bowl.

Elevating morning staples, the avocado toast comes crowned with heaps of fresh Dungeness crab, while the lemon ricotta pancakes are a divine indulgence. The breakfast board, a bountiful spread of farm eggs, smoked salmon, cream cheese, and caper-fennel relish, pairs perfectly with generous pours of Schramsberg champagne.


 

Freshly prepared to order, the pillowy Zeppoles arrive piping hot. Classic California breakfast standards, like an asparagus and goat cheese omelet, as well as skirt steak accompanied by fried eggs and potatoes, round out the menu.
